THINGS TO DO IN ZANTE 2025
Jump on a boat to Shipwreck Beach!
Navagio Beach, aka Shipwreck Beach or Smugglers Cove, is Zante’s superstar and one of the most snapped beaches in the world! This hidden gem is only reachable by boat, with trips leaving from all over the island—often with a cool stop at the Blue Caves on the way. For a more chill experience, try to visit early morning or late afternoon to dodge the crowds. And don’t forget your sunblock—there’s zero shade on this sandy paradise!

Go to the waterpark
Come on in and make a splash at Tsilivi Waterpark! It’s a water paradise for all ages—kids and adults alike! With tons of slides and gorgeous surroundings, it’s the ultimate spot for an unforgettable day of fun.

Turtle Time!
Zante's beaches are famous for their laid-back locals—the endangered loggerhead turtles!Six peaceful bays, like Kalamaki, Laganas, and Gerakas, make up the park’s protected area. From Keri Harbour or Laganas, you can hop on a turtle-watching tour, kayak, snorkel, or even hire a private boat for a chance to spot them in the turquoise waters!

Snorkel or swim at the Blue Cave
Plunge into the emerald waters of Keri Cave (aka the Blue Cave) in southwest Zakynthos! This hidden spot can only be reached by boat, and once you’re there, you’ll be surrounded by stunning white rock formations and tons of colourful marine life and fish. A true underwater paradise!

Eat Greek food
Tragaki’s got a few cozy tavernas serving up tasty traditional Greek dishes. You’ll find fresh, olive-oil drizzled fish, classic moussaka, souvlaki and stifado—a hearty beef stew. Down the hill in Tsilivi, beachfront spots serve up juicy ouzo-marinated ribs and roasted lamb. Feeling adventurous? Try a bowl of skordostroumpi—hot tripe soup, for a real local experience!

Go karting
Unleash your inner race car driver at Formula Zante Go Karts! Zoom around a thrilling 610m track with fast straights and tricky turns. Go all out with powerful 300cc karts. Located right on the Kalamaki-Laganas road, it’s the perfect stop!

Check out the town
Zante Town’s city centre is all about Alexander Roma Street and 21st Maiou Street, stretching up to San Marco Square. The area shuts down to traffic from 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. and is packed with shops, bars, and restaurants. When the sun starts to set and the heat cools down, tourists of all ages head to town for the island’s nightlife. Pubs and disco bars fill up as everyone waits for the clubs just outside the city to open!

Party on the strip
The strip is Zante’s ultimate party hotspot, with neon lights flashing and bars everywhere you look! Hit up Rescue, Greece’s biggest nightclub outside Athens, where the dancefloors are packed and the sound system’s blasting. And if you’re still going when the lights come on, there are afterparties on the beach that’ll keep you dancing until sunrise!
