How Much Money Should I Bring to Magaluf?

One of the key things to a killer holiday in Magaluf is making sure you’ve got enough cash!
As a rule of thumb, aim to bring about €100 for each day you’re there. This will cover your nights out on the strip, a couple of cheap meals, and some snacks while you’re out exploring.
Now, deciding how to bring it over is another thing. You could bring all your money in euros, but the exchange rate might not be great in the UK, and it’s a lot of cash to carry around. A smarter option is to bring some cash in sterling and exchange it at one of the many currency shops in Magaluf – you’ll usually get a better rate.
A good combo is to bring a bit of cash in both euros and sterling, then keep the rest on your bank card. Magaluf has plenty of ATMs (the ones inside banks like Banco, Sabadell, and Santander are the safest). Don’t forget to tell your bank you’re travelling abroad to avoid any issues. Also, be ready for small withdrawal fees.
If you run out of money while you're there, don’t worry! You can have friends or family send you cash through Western Union.
In terms of exchange rates, you’ll get about €110 for every £100 you exchange. If you’re on a budget, grab a Magaluf Revolution VIP wristband or the £139 Ultimate Package (trust us, it’ll save you loads on bars, clubs and events).
To stretch your budget, try pre-drinking on the balcony before heading out, negotiate with PRs for the best drink deals, and buy event tickets online ahead of time.
Of course, how much you spend really depends on your plans. If you're partying hard every night and eating out constantly, you could spend over a thousand pounds, but with a bit of planning, you can easily have a great holiday for around €500!
